Welcome to The Holiday Exchange, where swapping a short break, a week or two (or longer) in your own home or holiday home for your own dream holiday, anywhere in the world, couldn’t be easier!
We are Philippa & Allan Lyall, seasoned travellers and experienced members of the world of Home Exchanges. Over the past decade have enjoyed dozens of holidays, ‘swapping’ our holiday home for others, far and wide across the globe, from Canada, to Australia, New Zealand, Reunion Island, many countries in Europe and the UK.
A conventional ‘House Swap’ though has an in-built limitation: You have to find someone who also wishes to ‘swap’ with you. There’s nothing more frustrating than finding the perfect holiday home, but the owners don’t want to come to your part of the world!
Enter…. The Holiday Exchange!
No more direct swaps! No more frustration! Just a simple ‘banking’ system for holiday credits, that you can ‘spend’ with any other member. We actively encourage second home or holiday home owners to join our membership database as these properties offer the most flexibility with regards to dates, but we are also happy for members to swap their main residence, providing it is in an area where people generally would wish to to take a holiday. Your house swap or holiday home could be a private house, cottage, a time-share or even something less conventional like a house-boat!
We don’t charge any admin fees per swap either, just an annual membership, which means you can ‘swap’ as many times as you wish for no additional charges, and for those who take advantage and sign up to our mailing list NOW, the membership fee is guaranteed for the first year at just £25/€30/$40USD (Usually £69 or equivalent) We will also give an extra week’s holiday in the ‘bank’ for one lucky subscriber when the site goes live.
